Abstract

This paper is devoted to validate a novel D-FACTS connected based on modified distribution static compensator (DSTATCOM) in an interconnected wind-grid system. The modified DSTATCOM is controlled by PID controller driven by a multi loop dynamic error controller scheme. A complete simulation model of the proposed system is developed in Matlab/Simulink Environment.
