The angle of light distribution and light intensity of the Light Emitting Diode (LED) product are considered as important parameters to produce an appropriate design to be simulated by Zemax. The simulations demonstrate the relation between the reflector shape, angle of reflector with the LED lamp base and the distance between the reflector and the LED with the illuminance. The results of these simulations show that pair of LED with plane side reflector at an angle of 45° with the lamp base and 3 mm from the LED edge gives the best illumination pattern. Abstract
