For the variety of knowledge obtained and its considerably large amount, design of knowledge presentation methods is an important aspect of this application, several styles of knowledge presentation methods are incorporated in the developed system. Inference mechanism of the expert system is also briefly described in this paper. Abstract

Dredging operation is characterized by considerably high cost. For manually control dredging process is of low production and poor efficiency, in order to raise production and reduce unit cost, automatically controlled dredging equipment is urgently required.
