The statistical data of the labor mar-ket are presented. It demonstrates an in-crease in the share of citizens who do not use their professional education in the course of their work. A variant of forming a battery of tests designed to identify the influ-ence of personal characteristics on the lev-els of professional commitment and self-identification at the adept and adaptant stages is proposed. The choice of test meth-ods combined into two blocks is justified. They are designed to analyze personality traits and to assess the level of professional-ization. Abstract
