Taking the epoxy resin insulator of the roof pantograph as the research object, establish a calculation and analysis model for the transient overvoltage which the roof high voltage system composed of the pantograph catenary, rail and integrated grounding system. A insulator flashover model also is established which considering the pollution distribution and high-speed airflow. The flashover characteristics on the insulator is obtained by combining the test wind tunnel and COMSOL simulation. Abstract
