Abstract

The authors present the study and the realisation of a flux observer and regulation for a variable speed drive. This drive is composed by an induction machine fed by a static converter (PWM inverter). They show the steady and dynamic performances of this system on a low power experiment. The aim of this paper is to obtain a precise flux observer for several applications (traction, positionning) without ubing many sensors.
