Abstract
In the article the development, operation principles and interface of the cross-platform mobile application for the neuro-electrostimulator ‘SYMPATHOCOR-01’ were described. The developed application makes possible to remotely control the device using Bluetooth Low Energy technology. The advantages of the application were compared with the native application based on Android. It was shown that memory footprint has decreased 3-fold, source lines of program code has decreased by 2.5 times, the number of potential user has increased by 1.5 times, minimal RAM usage increased 4-fold, the maximal usage of RAM increased by 20 MB, minimal CPU usage increased 5-fold, maximal CPU usage increased by 14%. The application interface copies the interface of the ‘SYMPATHOCOR-01’ device from 1997, which ensures legacy of the mobile application interface.
