Abstract
In this paper we are investigating how the learning styles and students' assumptions for their preferred educational materials delivery style influence the learning outcomes of the students. We focus on widespread belief that students have specific learning styles and that education should be individualized to the extent that the pedagogy of teaching/learning is matched to the preferred style of the student. We also investigate the belief that students ought to be seen as self-educators who should be given maximum control over how they are learning and what is their learning trajectory. For that purpose, we have developed the methodology that investigate how can we match learning style with educational materials delivery in the e-learning environment. We also compare the obtained educational results and learners' perception for the quality of experience. This paper presents results of experiment using that methodology. The experiment involved 70 students within two different courses in computer science during one semester.
