Abstract

The worst-case electromagnetic coupling between a 900 MHz mobile telephone and implanted pacemaker with unipolar catheter was investigated by computer simulation. The model comprises a dielectric block with embedded pacemaker and a half-wavelength dipole situated above the surface.
