Research on the Construction of Liberal Arts Laboratory in Universities under the Background of New Liberal Arts Education

Abstract

With the advent of the information and intelligence age, new technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data have exerted a profound impact on university education. In this context, Ministry of Education of China puts forward the strategy of strengthening the new liberal arts education. New liberal arts is characterized by diversified content, scientific nature and value. Liberal arts laboratories play an important role in promoting the construction of new liberal arts, and their development also faces the challenges of insufficient attention, low openness and lack of talents. This paper puts forward some suggestions on improving the construction of liberal arts laboratory from the aspects of top-level design, new technology application, intelligentization and teaching staff.
