After testing the accuracy, it can be seen that the developed SWR meter has not exceed $\\pm \\mathbf{5}\\ \\%$ of error in comparing to standard instrument. Abstract

This article presents the development of 5.8 GHz SWR meter for testing telecommunication system and applying in the teaching of telecommunication engineering. The hardware based on Arduino microcontroller consists of two parts including the multi-frequency oscillator and the digital SWR meter using a directional coupler of 5.8 GHz operating frequency.
