Abstract

Biomass is one source of power generation method. Biomass gasification technology is used to convert the biomass into gas. The gasifier ash extraction operations are controlled by conventional controller like ON-OFF. These types of controllers are providing unsatisfied performance over variations of on pressure drop in the reduction zone and oxygen level of the gasifier. An alternate method is used that is called fuzzy controller. In this paper, a fuzzy controller has been introduced. The proposed controller has to actuate the screw conveyer motor according to the pressure drop in the reactor. The regulate and rate of change of pressure have been verified by simulation.
