The base station communicates with the scheduled users with orthogonal beams. Thus, the multiuser multiple input multiple output links turn into single user MIMO link. Abstract

The paper proposes a spatial division multiple access (SDMA) multiuser transmission scheme for massive multiple input multiple output (MIMO) systems working in the 3D scenery where the BS is deployed with dual-polarized (DP) uniform linear arrays(ULA).
