A reform of laboratory exercises in electricity and magnetism

Abstract

Laboratory exercises play a key role in demonstrating the importance of measurement in physics and engineering to students. If properly designed, the students can benefit from them enormously. We describe our reform of the Electricity and Magnetism Laboratory and how the electrical engineering students evaluated it.
