This paper proposes a discrete cosine transform (DCT) with embedded watermark using QR Code for authentication of data center. In a traditional QR Code, the plaintext is converted to the image. However, the watermarking based DCT provides more security in authentication since the ciphertext is converted to the image. The experiment tested with 100 users, each user is authenticated for 5 times in two data centers. Abstract
