However, the misinterpretation of the PIS-PK indicators by the students is an obstacle in the community-based learning model. This study aims to identify student misinterpretations related to PIS-PK indicators and we will provide recommendations to improve the instructions for filling out the PIS-PK indicator. Methods: This type of research is observational descriptive with a sample of 25 respondents who were recruited using purposive sampling technique. The research time is from September 2021 to October 2021. Data collection is through the google form questionnaire instrument which consists of 22 question items with closed ended questions, with 3 choice options. Results : Based on the analysis of the research results, the researchers found two indicators namely indicators 5 and 9 that were not clearly understood by the respondents. This could be due to respondents still in the early stages of exposure to these indicators or because the indicator formulas were inadequate. Overall, the PIS-PK indicators are easy to understand and can be digested well. Conclusion: There are 2 indicators that make students not understand the meaning of the statement, namely indicators 5 and 9. This indicator requires modification or addition of instructional information to make the meaning of the statement clearer.
