Abstract

This paper presents an open source robot simulation environment based on the robot operating system (ROS). To help novice to learn robotics, we have designed several important experiments that most robotics beginners will need to practice. Our simulation environment provides an efficient, safe, and transferable testing and operating environment for the rapid verification of robot algorithms.
