Abstract

A design of circular microstrip patch antenna with interference rejection property is presented in this paper for UWB applications. This antenna is considered for various applications perform into desired frequency scale from 3.5282 to 11.1174 GHz. This circular microstrip patch antenna is studied for applications in C band (4 to 8) band, upper S band (2 to 4) band, WLAN (5.2 to 5.8 GHz) band, X (8 to 12) band, ITU uplink satellite communication (8.1 to 8.4 GHz) band and U-NII (5.15 to 5.825 GHz) band, while rejecting WiMAX (3.5 to 5.5 GHz) band and RFID (6.6 to 7.1) band.
