Abstract
We have proposed a new optical single-sideband (SSB) modulator using polarization-reversed structures for 60 GHz band radio-over-fiber systems, which enables us to have the SSB optical modulation without an external power supply. The SSB modulation characteristics and the switching of enhanced side-bands were successfully demonstrated in the 60 GHz band.
