Abstract
Apart from universal ellipsis of a repeated element in analytical forms, the
Slavic languages make use of nonstandard means of grammatical economy in
verbal constructions. The author applies the data of the Old Church Slavic, Old
Russian, Serbian and Ukrainian languages.
