Abstract

The traditional TCP was designed for wired network; implementing TCP protocol in wireless network may lead inaccuracy prediction and will results suffer performance degradation in network. A proposed TCP-Hybrid congestion mechanism is presented in this article to address the issues by improving TCP performance in wireless environments such as a mobile WiMAX.
