Abstract

In this paper, we propose a realistic media authoring tool based on MPEG-V standard. The proposed authoring tool consists of two types: the sensory effect metadata (SEM) generation tool and the SEM authoring tool. The SEM generation tool performs that each MPEG-V based SEM is inputted, generated and extracted. The SEM authoring tool writes MPEG-V based SEM and performs a 3D simulation of the inputted SEM. The proposed authoring tool has the following advantages: simple UI/UX, easy usage and easy scalability.
