In this paper, the proposed system is successfully built up, and a full function of real time remote operation is tested with data collection, especially at a system outage. Abstract

This paper implements a GPRS-based embedded system for load management system in real time remote operation to power equipments in general applications. The proposed system is designed using a 32-bit ARM-7 embedded microprocessor system to carry on power data processing and relay control through GPRS mobile communication.
