Abstract

ICTs have blessed us with numerous opportunities to access scholarly communication/asset in digitalenvironment but managing digital resources is a tough task. DOIs (Digital Object Identifiers) are the means for identifying content objects in digital environment, which enhances not only their uses but gives them a unique identity forever. This paper discusses DOIs and their possible applications for scholarly communication/asset.
