Features of the economy of the Sultanate of Oman 1970 - 2020

Abstract

The article presents the features of the development of the Omani economy during five decades (1970 to 2020). And how the Sultanate of Oman witnessed a remarkable economic development, but the economic crises that faced the Omani economy proved the depth of the link between the growth achieved in the gross domestic product and the growth of oil activities, which called on the government recently to take new financial policies aimed at stimulating non-oil economic growth.
