This paper also highlights the results of a market study that was carried out to determine the demand for an application of this kind in the Maldivian community. Abstract

Augmented Reality is a technology being used in an increasing number of fields as of late. This involves the field of education, where it is used in a variety of ways as an educational tool for all ages. This paper aims to research and design the components that such a digital application for preschool-aged children comprises, in order to create one. Various existing works are explored and analysed for the purpose of determining the optimal method to carry out specific functions.
