Abstract

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: The aim of study is to determine the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge regarding covid-19 and perinatal care of mother among nursing students in selected College at Mysuru. OBJECTIVES: To assess the knowledge regarding covid-19 and perinatal care of mother among Nursing students. 1. To assess the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge regarding covid-19 and perinatal care of mother among Nursing students. 2. To find out association between pre-test knowledge level regarding covid19 and perinatal care of mother among Nursing students with their selected personal variables. METHODS: In this study, one group is pre-test and post-test, pre-experimental design was used and purposive sampling technique was adopted to select nursing students JSS College of Nursing, Mysuru. The result also shows that the knowledge score of Nursing students had no association with selected personnel variable accept previous knowledge regarding covid-19 and perinatal care of mother. CONCLUSION: Therefore, the study concluded that the administration of structured teaching programme was an effective method of improve the knowledge of Nursing students regarding covid19 and perinatal care of mother.
