Abstract

One of the essential strategies to develop the Geotourism investments is recognizing the areas are suitable for the ecotourism and planning to discover the Geotourism investments of these areas. Nowadays, considering environmental elements it is significant to investigate and analyze the aforementioned investments and potentialities scientifically. Geotourism, the tourism of the appearance of the earth is a way to alleviate the negative effects of the tourism mass on the environment, local cultures and the earth geomorphic figures. The purpose of this study is to investigate the wetlands, the most outstanding biological filed in the world. With their unique intense biodiversity, multilateral tourism-recreation and unlimited scientific, researchable and aesthetical values, wetlands have a special place in traveling system and international nature conservancy network. Having more than 40 natural and unique wetlands and being the birth place of the Ramsar convention Iran requires more protection and support for its Geotourism investments. This study is based on inductive method (descriptive-case study) and navigating internet network and collecting information in the library.
