The role of immigration policies in the exploitation of migrant care workers: an ethnographic exploration

Abstract

This chapter focuses on ethnographic data to look at the experiences of migrant care workers employed in a residential care home for older people. It reveals how the denial of rights by the UK welfare state structures and underpins the vulnerability of this groups of workers.
