Abstract

The fundamentals for designing full adders (FA) based on the processing of digital current signals are considered. A non-traditional FA synthesis technique is proposed on the base of the mathematical tool of linear algebra. The main logic equations of FA are given. The circuitry of two-digit and multivalued FAs for CMOS technology is proposed, the results of their computer simulation are discussed. The comparison of current FAs with known CMOS implementations of the adders synthesized on the principles of Boolean algebra is given.
