Abstract

Multistatic LASAR is capable of realizing 3-D imaging with high cross-track resolution by a single pass. However, the reconstruction performance of multistatic LASAR is closely related to the coherence of the sensing matrix, which is determined by the distribution of the antenna elements. This paper derives the mutual coherence of the sensing matrix and models the array arrangement design as a constrained optimization problem, which is then solved by a constrained differential evolution algorithm. Simulation results demonstrate that the optimized array element distribution can obtain better reconstruction performance compared with the traditional random antenna distribution.
