Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of work-from-home on the job performance of selected employees in the Philippines during the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly in the work environment, job satisfaction and work motivation as mediating variables in this study. The research used structural equation modeling and deployed a questionnaire attuned to the changes caused by the pandemic. The output of the investigation revealed that employees experienced greater enjoyment, satisfaction and motivation that contributed to the enhancement of job performance. The study proposes that organizations conduct further research on the long-term effect and impact on employees involved in work from home arrangements to formulate responsive policies to the work-from-home arrangement.
