Abstract
This paper presents the Langmuir Probe experiment for the European Student Earth Orbiter (ESEO) satellite. The project is now after the design phase, the production of the final probe and the data collection hardware has been started. In this paper the theoretical background and the main engineering solutions will be discussed.
