To archive this, the authors have investigated advantages of BIM-based energy performance assessment through comparison with traditional energy performance assessment; and suggest requirements for devel- opment of Open BIM environment such as BIM data creation and BIM data application. Abstract
Early design phase energy modelling is used to provide the design team with feedback about the impact of various building con- figurations.
