Abstract

The automotive industry and researchers have recently shown an interest in autonomous vehicles. In an autonomous vehicle, different technologies may be used. Radio Detection and Ranging Technology (RADAR), Light Image Detection and Ranging Technology (LiDAR) and computer vision are commonly recognized techniques. Computer vision is a method of extracting significant features from a digital image that allows the computer to perceive the features of objects and interpret the image. In recent research, it has been found that methods of deep learning can detect objects in real time. In the current review, approaches focused on CNN are discussed and their performances are compared.
