Abstract

A new-type of baggage dynamic sorting device is proposed, which consists of a sequence of identical dynamic sorting units. Each unit utilizes rocker-slider mechanism to realize the quick tipping and resetting of the transporting plate, so as to satisfy time response requirement of quick baggage sorting and reduce the difficulty in assembling and maintaining. Based on conceptual design of the unit, dynamics and kinematics analysis are carried out. Consequently, driving force, motor power and the joint forces are obtained to verify the feasibility of the device, which provides basis for selection of driving element and optimization of mechanical design.
