Abstract

The testing of polyamide 6 under accelerated ageing by D-irradiation was accomplished for the evaluation of its functional characteristics as electrical insulation. Two groups of complementary procedures: chemiluminescence and dielectric feature measurements were applied. The explanation of structural modifications in relation with the changes in electrical behavior is presented.
