Abstract
Wavelet packet division multiplexing (WPDM), in which the message signals are waveform coded onto wavelet packet basis function, is a promising technique for multiple signals transmission. It was proposed in order to ensure better transmission quality in hostile environments. In this paper, we enrich previous studies by analyzing the peak to average power ratio (PAPR.) criterion. A procedure based on best wavelet packet basis function selection and different users mapping is then proposed in order to decrease the PAPR. Some simulations are carried to support the analysis.
