Abstract
Aim of the publication was to show the process of controlling refrigeration units using MEMS. The paper shows the operating parameters of a modern absorption chiller and shows how they are strictly defined and supervised by automation systems using MEMS systems. The paper indicates that for the system to work properly, the technological parameters at each point of the system must be strictly met. Maintaining the appropriate flow of the medium, temperature of hot water and cooling water, these are the parameters that are an important element of ensuring stable operation of the chiller. The publication indicates that crystallization of the absorption salt may occur if the limit values are exceeded. The paper proposes a solution facilitating the operation of absorption chillers - ultimately, it can also solve the problem of deteriorating operational parameters.
