Abstract

We demonstrate 100- and 200-Gb/s/λ line-rate PON downstream transmission considering Alamouti-coded 16QAM signal with a single-polarization heterodyne receiver. The power budget is experimentally evaluated for both single-ended and balanced detection considering 25 km reach. © 2022 The Author(s)
