The proposed control strategy is implemented into a computer model developed in the Simulink MATLAB environment. Abstract

Operation of the speed variable electrical drive than includes the active rectifier with voltage oriented control system during of voltage failures is discussed in the paper. It is established that during an asymmetric voltage failure, the VOC controlled active rectifier is a high harmonics source. To form sinusoidal currents novel control strategy is proposed.
