Learning objects becomes meaningful and understandable when they possess certain characteristics like interactivity, concise information, embedded voice, visuals embedded with text, text embedded with voice and so on. To develop interactive and engaging learning objects several instructional design theories and models are used. Success of personalized eLearning systems also depends on the learning objects that are delivered to learners in an eLearning environment. Thus, there is a need to develop personalized learning objects.
