Abstract

A large number of pilot symbols needed to track the changes of the channel in pilot-aided channel estimation algorithms, so that the Spectrum Efficiency (SE) is reduced and the algorithm computational load is increased. In this paper, the Parameters Model (PM) for the channel frequency response is established based on the particular structure of CP-OFDM Systems (COS). Then a novel algorithm for pilot-aided channel estimation in frequency domain is given by the approximate estimation of PM based on LS.
