Abstract
Innovative semiconductor materials, solid substitution solutions CdSxTe1−x with different composition were produced with the help of improved isothermal diffusion. Bulk and surface physicochemical properties — X-ray, electron-microscopic, UV-spectroscopical, acid-base, and adsorptive ones — were studied. Interrelated regularities “property — composition” were devised. Predictions about the surface properties based on the bulk properties investigation were confirmed.
