Abstract

In this paper, it is proposed a ultra-wideband polarization conversion cell for metasurface which is based on the concept of Pancharatnam-Berry(PB) phase. By optimizing the parameters of the cell, a near-ideal 180 reflection phase difference is obtained, which can achieve high-efficiency co-polarization conversion in 9.26GHz-19.84GHz, and the polarization conversion efficiency of this cell is as high as 0.98. Based on the same principle, the unit reflection phase is arranged, and the high purity vortex beam metasurface in the band that listed above is designed, which proves the effectiveness of the proposed cell.
