Abstract

Lucent Technologies' ORCA (Optimized Reconfigurable Cell Array) FPGAs, with their nibble-oriented architecture, are especially suitable for data-path-intensive circuits. The current design flows do not fully utilize the data-path and memory capabilities in the ORCA architecture.
