Abstract

Braille is a vital technique of learning for visually challenged individuals. It is the method which empowers them to get educated. To make the braille cell low cost, energy efficient and minimum latency an attempt is made in this paper. This system can be used for applications like braille keypads and braille monitors. In this system there are two outputs in the form of an audio and the tactile. This helps visually challenged individual to sense the output and listen to it simultaneously. In this work serial communication is used to send and receive data.
