Abstract

Two input Two output DC-DC converters with single inductor structure are very popular in Electric Vehicle and DC micro grid applications due to the merits of simple structure, lower cost and good power density. In this paper, a simple converter that is proficient to deliver two different voltage levels at the output side from two different input energy sources is introduced. The converter can incorporate the sources with dissimilar voltage-current characteristics. Thorough converter analysis has been performed with the support of necessary circuits and equations. The performance assessment of the converter is done in experimental and simulation platforms and the required waveforms are presented.
