Abstract
In this paper, the H-plane radiation pattern analysis of a class of patch arrays will be presented with a new analytical modeling technique which employs precision modeling of individual radiators and a newly developed generalized array equation. As will be shown, this technique yields highly accurate overall H-plane radiation pattern prediction of microstrip patch antenna arrays of any conformal shapes.
