Abstract

The non_uniformed Permanent magnet double rotor motor is used in wind power and hybrid vehicles as an electrical variable transmission. It is integrated radially by two permanent magnet machines (stator machine and double rotor machine). In this paper, the mathematical model is linearized and the generalized model predictive controller MPC is chosen here to control this motor type. In order to improve the effectiveness of the investigated control strategy, the MPC algorithm is implemented and applied to the motor model simulated in Simulink/MATLAB.
